Why Arsenal’s dressing room was quiet after 2-2 draw with Chelsea

There was silence in Arsenal’s dressing room following a 2-2 draw at Chelsea on Saturday.

The result ensured the Gunners remained unbeaten in the Premier League, but the players were far from happy afterwards.

Late goals from Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard cancelled out the two-goal lead the Blues had through Cole Palmer’s first-half penalty and Mykhailo Mudryk’s mis-hit cross early in the second half.

Arsenal were poor for most of the game, but managed to rescue a point at Stamford Bridge.

“I really liked as well going into the dressing room and it’s really quiet, after drawing 2-2 with Chelsea and coming back from 2-0 down, because I know that they wanted more. That’s the positive,” Arteta said.
