Manchester United, Adidas Unveil New LFSTLR Collection
Premier League giants, Manchester United, and Adidas, have unveiled LFSTLR, a line of fashion-forward streetwear for the 2023/24 season.
The collaboration takes United’s game off the pitch and into the world of fashion, where the red devil is represented in both style and comfort.
The LFSTLR collection transcends traditional sportswear, offering fans a chance to express their love for the club through contemporary fashion. Adidas describes the LFSTLR collection as the ‘most wearable football jersey,’ a bold fusion of football performance and streetwear culture. It’s available at United Direct now.
United, in a statement on their website, said LFSTLR collection means fans can be United everywhere. Inspired by the game, but made for the culture, the collection offers a unique opportunity for Reds to express their club pride in a distinctive and comfortable way. The collection features premium engineered fabrics that are soft to the touch and showcase comfortable flat-knit details. The tonal adidas Badge of Sport across the range ensures that the iconic red devil crest takes even more of the spotlight.
“To signal the launch of the LFSTLR collection, we’ve linked up with several United fans who are the stars of their own show – the likes of poet Dr John Cooper Clarke, Adekunle Gold, &ME and The KTNA, to name but a few. Our very own Lisandro Martinez also gets involved, so keep your eyes peeled for what’s – and who’s – to come!
“As part of adidas’s commitment to sustainability, a minimum of 70 percent of this product is a blend of recycled and renewable materials.”
Sam Handy, Vice President of Product and Design at adidas Football, highlighted the collection’s significance, stating: “The lines between football and fashion have never been more blurred, which is why we’re excited to launch this new collection for fans who want to show off their club pride in style and comfort.”
“The LFSTLR jersey elevates the traditional concept of replica jerseys by incorporating heavier superior fabrics for added comfort and a premium trim execution.
“Some traditional on-pitch elements have been reduced or even removed, resulting in a clean and crisp look that emphasises the club crests.
“Notably, each jersey is made from 70 to 100 percent recycled or renewable materials, demonstrating adidas’s commitment to sustainability.”
