Mali defeat Mauritania in warning ahead of Super Eagles friendly

The Eagles of Mali sent a warning signal to Nigeria on Friday night, following their 2-0 win over Mauritania.

The Super Eagles had earlier in the day defeated West African rival Ghana 2-1 in Marrakech, Morocco.

Mali faced Mauritania later in the night recorded a comfortable 2-0 win and declared readiness for the Nigeria tie.

Modibo Sagnan netted the opening goal in the first half before El Bilal Toure added the second goal to seal the game.

Mali will confront Nigeria in Marrakech on Tuesday to complete the first International window of 2024.
