Kylian Mbappe restored to PSG’s first-team squad

Paris Saint-Germain have announced the return of Kylian Mbappe to first-team training.

The 24-year-od was banished after he refused to sign a new contract with the Ligue 1 champions.

This was amid reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid.

The France captain was not included in the PSG squad that drew 0-0 against Lorient on Saturday in a French Ligue 1 tie.

However, in a statement on Sunday morning, PSG stated, “Following very constructive, positive talks between PSG and Kylian Mbappé before the game vs Lorient, the player has been reinstated into the first team training squad this morning.”

Mbappe’s current contract with PSG will expire next summer.

The forward is keen to join Real Madrid as a free agent next year.
