Amid concerns that Nollywood may be facing a crisis following the passing of several actors, including Junior Pope, Ugezu took to Instagram to share his perspective. He emphasized that while the deaths of movie stars receive widespread attention, fatalities occur across various professions every week. Ugezu attributed the surge in deaths to what he described as the “systematic destruction of the health sector.” Urging for a shift away from spiritual explanations, he called for a deeper understanding of systemic failures beyond Nollywood’s realm.
