I like it when you shout at me – Haaland tells Guardiola

Erling Haaland has said that he enjoys it when his Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, shouts at him in front of the cameras.

Haaland received the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year ahead of Lionel Messi and Kevin De Bruyne on Thursday

This came a few days after he claimed the Premier League Players’ Player award.

The Norwegian helped Manchester City claim European treble last season with his 52 goals in 53 games.

The Norway International has already netted three goals in three Premier League games this season.

Haaland was shouted at by Guardiola during the game against Burnley over the weekend despite scoring twice.

He was asked about the moment and who he finds more scary out of Guardiola, and his father Alf-Inge.

“Good question, sometimes Pep is a bit scary, I have to say,” he replied talkSPORT.

“But my father can also be a bit scary.

“But anyways this is something I like, I like it when Pep shouts at me because he tries to get something in my brain that he doesn’t think I have.

“So I like it, I’m not complaining at all, he just wants to make me a better footballer so I’m not complaining at all

“My father and me, we argue a lot, we have a lot of good moments together, so I’m not complaining at all either.”
