Fireboy Denies Competition Within YBNL or with Asake
Fireboy DML Clears the Air on Competition within YBNL, Affirms Solidarity with Asake
Afrobeats sensation Fireboy DML has put an end to rumors of competition between him and fellow YBNL label mate, Asake.
Addressing the speculation, the ‘Peru’ hitmaker emphasized the absence of competition within their record label, YBNL Nation. In a recent interview with Max FM, Lagos, Fireboy elaborated on the harmonious dynamic among himself, Asake, and their label boss, renowned rapper Olamide.
Fireboy stated, “I don’t think there is any competition in YBNL because everyone is on a different lane. We could all drop our songs one week from each other and nobody would be angry. There’s genuine love. There’s genuine brotherhood among us. There was a day Olamide and Asake helped loosen my hair. That moment was a very solemn moment for me. There is no competition in YBNL.”
Furthermore, Fireboy highlighted YBNL Nation’s focus on unity and prosperity within the industry, emphasizing their commitment to financial success rather than engaging in industry rivalries.
