Federal Government Condemns KFC for Discriminating Against Son of Former Governor with Disabilities

“The Federal Government Condemns KFC’s Discrimination Against Debola Daniel, Son of Former Ogun State Governor, at Lagos Airport The Federal Government has expressed its condemnation towards Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) for its discriminatory treatment of Debola Daniel, a passenger with reduced mobility and son of former Ogun State Governor, Benga Daniel, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos State. Despite KFC’s issued apology via its verified handle, Dr. Adamu Abdullahi, the Acting Executive Vice Chairman of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, emphasized the government’s stance against discrimination, especially concerning disability. Abdullahi labeled the alleged incident as not only unlawful but also inhumane, contradicting the societal values we uphold.”
