Cubana Chief Priest Advises Nigerians: Don’t Flee if EFCC Calls You
“Cubana Chief Priest Encourages Nigerians: Don’t Evade EFCC Invitations, They Don’t Manhandle Suspects”
Popular socialite Pascal Okechukwu, known as Cubana Chief Priest, has urged Nigerians not to avoid invitations from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He emphasized that EFCC operatives do not mistreat suspects but simply “investigate and prosecute.” Cubana Chief Priest praised the agency’s professionalism, assuring that they would apprehend anyone evading invitations or resisting arrest, regardless of their whereabouts. He highlighted the hospitality provided by the EFCC, including three square meals in their cells. Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “The Eagle will always fly so high to catch you wherever you hide. No need to run when @officialefce invites you, just pull up and answer them, they don’t bite, they don’t beat, they only investigate and prosecute.” Cubana Chief Priest’s remarks come amid his recent arraignment by the EFCC on charges related to abuse of the Naira, for which he was granted bail after pleading not guilty.
