Bobrisky's Charitable Gesture, Donates Chairs to Kirikiri Prison

Okuneye Idris, famously known as BobRisky, has made a generous donation of chairs to Kirikiri Prison.

A circulating photo on social media displays rows of chairs within the correctional facility, bearing a label acknowledging the donation from “Idris Okuneye BobRisky.”

Accompanying the images is a caption conveying, “On behalf of BobRisky, for the Nigerian Correctional Service, Kirikiri, for the visiting area.”

It’s notable that Bobrisky recently garnered attention after being sentenced to six months’ imprisonment without the option of a fine by the Justice of the Federal High Court in Lagos on April 12, 2024. This followed his arrest by the EFCC earlier in April for currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira, leading to a guilty plea and subsequent detention.

Furthermore, recent reports revealed BobRisky’s transfer from Ikoyi Correctional Center to Kirikiri Prison by the Nigerian Correctional Service, citing standard procedure and Kirikiri’s larger capacity and enhanced security measures.
