Arsenal could be in another hard time this season as two of their main players have been ruled out of the FIFA international break.

While Bukayo Saka was not available for their 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday, William Saliba was pulled out of France national team due to injury.

Many believe that Saliba’s injury towards the end of last season was one of the major reasons they failed to win the title.

Saliba is now another potential injury blow for the Gunners who are battling to claim their first title since 2004.

Saliba, 22, was a standout player in Sunday’s 1-0 win over league champions at the Emirates but aggravated a long-standing toe injury.

He will not play for France  against the Netherlands and Scotland.

Former Manchester United star, Gary Neville believes Arsenal cannot win the league without Saliba

“They will not win the league if they don’t have the two centre-backs [William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes] and Rice,” he said.

Saliba himself recently said that the Gunners could not win the Premier League title because of the injury that kept him away in the last weeks.

For Saka, the England winger will still have to report for national team duty despite missing Arsenal’s win over Manchester City.

He is suffering from muscle injury which kept him out of their last Premier League outing.
