The onset of the incident with gunshots at around 10:00 PM created a sense of urgency and concern among the residents. According to Austine John, who is a neighbor to the victim, I heard the gunshots and immediately went to make sure my gate is properly locked and we alerted the mangers of the estate, and before they got there the kidnappers had already taken away the barristers wife and his in-law.
