Since I Joined The Music Industry They Have Not Had Peace – Says Davido

Famous singer, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, recently shared his perspective on the state of the Nigerian music industry since his entry. According to Davido, the industry has been in a constant state of upheaval, a sentiment he seemingly embraces.

In a candid statement posted on his social media handle, Davido expressed his affinity for the chaos within the music industry. He wrote, “Since I came in the game dem never get peace…I love it! Make I find somewhere with beach go relax,” indicating his appreciation for the dynamic nature of the industry.

Davido’s journey in the Nigerian music industry began with the release of his debut studio album, ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ in 2012, featuring hit singles like ‘Back When’ and ‘Dami Duro.’ Since then, he has ascended to become one of the leading figures in the new school Afrobeats movement, alongside Wizkid and Burna Boy.

Despite his success, Davido has openly admitted to strained relationships with fellow industry heavyweights, Wizkid and Burna Boy. This acknowledgment further underscores the complex dynamics at play within the Nigerian music landscape.
