Court Orders Substituted Service on Mohbad’s Wife in DNA Test Case

“Magistrate Court Orders Substituted Service on Late Mohbad’s Wife in DNA Test Case”

A Magistrate Court in Ikorodu, Lagos, has directed that notice of a pending DNA application concerning the late singer Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, be served through substituted means. This decision was announced in a statement issued by Monisola Odumosu, a member of the legal team representing the Aloba family, on Wednesday. Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, had filed an application seeking authorization to serve Wunmi by posting all legal documents related to the case at her last-known address. Despite failed attempts by the sheriff to serve Wunmi personally, the court ruled that posting the court process at her last known address would constitute proper service, ensuring her awareness of the ongoing legal proceedings.
