“Kaduna Activist Malam Mahdi Shehu Arrested for Advocating Buhari Probe – Lawyer Claims Detention”
Kaduna-based activist and whistleblower, Malam Mahdi Shehu, has reportedly been arrested by the police for urging President Bola Tinubu to investigate former President Muhammadu Buhari and some top officials. His lawyer, Barrister M. I. Abubakar, revealed that Shehu was apprehended and held in custody on Tuesday afternoon in Abuja by the Inspector-General of Police (IP) Monitoring Unit, purportedly based on a petition from Buhari’s former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.
