Israel DMW Criticizes Nigerians Mocking His Boss, Davido, Following His Grammy Loss

Isreal DMW, one of the aide to music star, Davido has slammed Nigerians for making a mockery of his boss following his Grammy loss.

It is no longer news that the first-time Grammy nominee lost all 3 categories at the just concluded 66th Record Academy Awards which was held at Crypto Com Arena in Los Angeles. Following his loss, many took to social media to mock the singer, sarcastically telling him to do better.

Reacting to it via his Instagram story, Isreal stated that they are mocking themselves as he noted how Davido is already successful.

He stated that his boss’ name even had to be used to create more publicity for the event. In a message to them, Isreal admonished them to look at themselves in the next 20 years if they will be better than Davido. He urged them to look at the life of some of the past awardees if they ever merited it.

“You’re completely mocking urself if you think you’re mocking Oga. In an already well-programmed event, where Oga’s name had to even be used as publicity. Look at ur life in the next 20 years if you will be better than Oga, in any way. Look at the life of some past awardee, if they ever merited it”.

Speaking on his loss, Davido took to the X app to declare love for his supporters with a pledge that he will continue to churn out quality music.

Showing him support, Cynthia Morgan stated that though she isn’t a fan of Davido, she feels he should have won an award. According to her, this would have allowed peace to reign in the country. However, she is wishing him better luck next time.

Crossdresser, Bobrisky had expressed pride in Davido, calling himself his biggest fan. He stated that Davido is too big to fail as he noted how he is past that level.

Bobrisky added that Davido is a world star and nothing can beat that whether he wins Grammys or not, it wouldn’t stop people from listening to his songs.

Meanwhile, Davido’s hypeman, Special Spesh, had shaded Tyla who won the Best African Music Performance over Davido, Burna Boy, and others.

Spesh took to his Instagram page to use Tyla’s song to throw shade at her, noting how a song about squirting down won over Davido.

Though he might have lost his Grammy win, Davido still has more reasons to be grateful, especially for the nomination.
