Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna and the winner of Big Brother Naija’s ‘Level Up,’ has officially filed a petition against a wig vendor following a controversy that emerged last year.

Towards the end of the previous year, Phyna faced allegations from a wig vendor who accused her of not returning a rented wig. Screenshots circulated online, showcasing attempts by Phyna and her team to negotiate a lower price with the vendor rather than returning the wig. Addressing the scandal, Phyna expressed her fatigue with constant online criticism, labeling the accuser as a “clout chaser” and urging for more responsible behavior from the public.

In an Instagram live video, Phyna asserted that the woman was attempting to blackmail her. She clarified that she is unfamiliar with the accuser and suggested that her management team might have handled the transaction without informing her.

Now, taking a decisive step, Phyna has officially filed a petition against the wig vendor, signaling her commitment to address the matter through legal channels. The outcome of this legal action remains to be seen as the controversy continues to unfold.
